Biography
An accomplished energy industry professional, Mathieu brings extensive leadership experience from Amazon Web Services (AWS), ExxonMobil, multiple global integrated oil and gas companies, and professional services consulting. He possesses deep operational and strategic expertise spanning traditional energy markets and cutting-edge digital technologies. Throughout his career, he has led major digital transformation initiatives in AI, hydrocarbon supply chain optimization, trading and risk management, manufacturing and refining, marketing and retail, enterprise IT, and cloud computing.
Notably, Mathieu developed and produced the ExxonMobil Outlook for Energy, a flagship report that delivered long-term global energy demand and supply forecasts to inform multi-billion-dollar investment decisions. He has regularly presented these insights to C-level executives, Boards of Directors, senior management, and the public. A recognized advocate for informed energy policy, he has delivered presentations to policy groups, NGOs, universities, governments, and corporations to advance public understanding of energy issues.
Mathieu holds a degree in Computer Science with a double major in Business from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
